Todd Ricks, born in Norfolk and raised in Virginia Beach, comes from a family with a rich history in the HVAC industry. Inspired by his father, William Ricks, Todd began his career in the 1980s with Howard Webb. In 1992, Todd joined the Air Force, gaining valuable experience in controls and nuclear weapons. After his son Sven’s battle with leukemia, Todd returned to Virginia to support his family.

Todd’s journey in HVAC led him through various roles, including working for Farm Fresh, Kroger, and Anton Air Food, where he fell in love with travel. He eventually founded his first company, The Ricks Group, which faced many challenges but laid the groundwork for his future success. In 2009, after a difficult period, Todd and his wife Isabelle founded Mechollage Inc., marking the start of a new chapter.

Starting from their home in Bayville Park, Mechollage has grown to a team of thirteen, serving both commercial and residential clients in Hampton Roads. Todd has been blessed with dedicated employees and some of the best service technicians in the area. He continually encourages his team to stay updated on the latest technology in the ever-changing industry.
