Mechollage has experienced professionals from the evaluation and estimate stage to installation to after-installation response. The installation represented an attic installation for the air handler unit in an attic with truss rafter construction in a house of about 40 years of age. This required a new attic access, which was completed in an appropriate hall area. The installation of the complete unit required almost one day. The team was thorough in their work, cleaned up, and left everthing in working order. Some days later, it was determined that there may be an issue with the unit. Within minutes, it was determined that an original return line had collapsed. At no additional cost, this line was replaced. It has been a few weeks since everything was completed. So far, everything is working properly, and the house is able to maintain the set temperature even during some very hot and humid spells. The outside unit is almost silent in its operation.

I am so impressed with this company for their workmanship, ethics, professionalism, and respect. I am a widow and am used to getting ripped off by contractors but in all my 68 years I have never seen a company go out of their way to make sure I was happy. My 1970 HVAC went out right before Christmas and I was in the hospital They installed my new HVAC unit within a day and it looked like all hands on deck. There were a few hiccups and they really worked hard to take care of me. When Todd came out and resolved the issue, I didn’t realize that he was the owner of the company until later. How often does the owner of a company come out and assess the situation and make it right? I am so pleased with this company that they also do my electrical work. We submitted a service request late saturday night when our a/c went out. I received a call first thing monday morning at 7:30a. Josh came out 30 minutes later and diagnosed our issue. Sven Ricks was our electrician and he was wonderful! We had issues with our breaker panel over the weekend and Sven was promptly there within an hr of calling. He walked us through everything the was doing and checked every possible issues and the causes behind them. We were thoroughly impressed and satisfied with our service. We had Mechollage come out to tune our daikon minisplit, since we weren’t sure of its condition. For the last 2.5 years we’ve lived here, we thought it only cooled even after we had two other hvac contractors look at our main system. Lisa came out and showed us the reversing valve in the outdoor unit and said it should provide heat. After she called the office, Rick (owner) came out to the house with a replacement remote that had the ability to switch between modes. Very positive helpful people and a company that I will recommend to others.

I called Mechollage when some microbial activity was found in our hvac system. They inspected, found some tears and gaps where air from the crawl space was entering the system. The Mechollage techs repaired the tears and gaps, and placed a permanent ionization cleaning system on our hvac unit. The musty smells and allergy symptoms have subsided and we have been very happy with the results. We also use Mechollage to maintain our geothermal hvac system. It has been almost two months now since the ionizer was installed and we are all much healthier, thanks to Mechollage.- Their pricing is very reasonable and their techs are all very respectful, polite, approachable and great communicators. They all smile, a lot. You know, honest, grounded, happy people. Very unusual. They call or text when they are on their way. The owner even came out, inspected the install and talked to us. The owner of a different, but well known HVAC company in the area told me that we would never get rid of the musty smell in our old house. He was wrong! I wish I had called mechollage sooner! Our system wasn’t keeping up with the colder temps. Tyre came out same day to diagnose the problem. Found the replacement part and returned next day, which fit our schedule best, to get us back to warmth. Always appreciate being spoken to with straight forward, easy to understand language and solutions first time. Happy to have become members last year and we will continue in the future.

I love Mechollage! They are friendly, profession, prompt, and knowledgeable. I had to use them to replace my line set a couple years ago and they did a great job. I recently called them bc I heard a sound coming from my unit. They came out and since the unit wouldn’t reproduce the sound, they told me I could call back within 30 days to have them come out again for free if I heard it again. It’s good to know I can trust them to be honest.
